Course Description
Whether you are new to the Christian faith or a Christian who wants to get back to basics, this class is for you. Explore the five habits of a mature Christian: Prayer, devotional time, fellowship, service, and sharing your faith.

Course Description
Explore the history, beliefs, vision, and values of ECA, with an opportunity to become a member of Eastridge following this course.

301 – Finding Your Place in Ministry
Learn how to connect your gifts, talents, and passions to your significant role in this world.

Course Description
Did you know that God has given you special gifts, talents, passions, and experience that are meant to place a significant role in this world? This seminar class is designed to help determine who God made you to be, and what He intends for you to do with that knowledge.

Date:  October 24-24 (Friday night/Saturday day class)

401 – "Just Walk Across the Room..." - Sharing Your Faith
Be equipped and empowered to share your faith with others.

Course Description
If taking ten steps across a room could point someone towards faith it might just change the way you walk. This seminar was designed to bring personal evangelism into the twenty-first century with a natural and empowering approach modeled after Jesus himself.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Introduction to Children’s Ministry

Course Description
Children’s Ministry is one of the most important ministries in the church today.  Sociologists tell us that the moral beliefs we hold at age 13 are most likely the beliefs we will hold throughout our lives.  Come see how you can take an active role in affecting a generation for Jesus Christ!

Strengthening Your Child’s Faith
(This class is designed for parents of children age 12 or younger).


Course Description
As a parent, you are responsible for the healthy growth of your child-not just physical growth, but spiritual growth as well.  This workshop will give parents practical tips and tools to build a strong spiritual foundation in the lives of their children that will help them weather the storms of life and stand firm in their commitment to Jesus.

Parenting Children

Course Description
Parenting a child is one of the greatest challenges you will ever have.  This workshop will give you methods and principles to help you through your current parenting issues and will help prepare you for the next ones!

 



YOUTH MINISTRY

Youth Ministry 101 – An introduction to adult leadership in student ministry

Course Description
In this course, we will be talking about essential foundations that are vital to being an effective leader within the student ministry.  We will be discussing key elements that we use to help students become life long followers of Christ, and how leaders can leave a lasting mark on this generation. 

Parenting and Understanding Teen Culture

Course Description
This class is designed to better equip parents and leaders to understand the realities of our students culture today.  We will be discussing practical ways to better connect, care for, and lead teens.

 

iLINKS 101
Pre-requisite: Membership Class 201

Course Description
In this class we will talk about what iLINKS are, why they exist and how you can get plugged into making a lasting difference in the lives of students through leading a small group.
Prerequisite: Membership Class 201

Course Description
This is the next step for small group leaders within the student ministry of impact.  Come and get fresh ideas and equipping to take your effectiveness to the next level as a student small group leader.


LIFE GROUPS

Developing a Fresh Vision for your Life Group
Pre-requisite: Current Life Group Leader

Course Description
Through this time together, you will have the opportunity to think outside of the box and develop a fresh, new vision for your Life Group ministry. There will be interactive discussions as well as opportunities for you to develop personally as a leader and create an individual game plan as you move forward.

 


ADULT CARE MINISTRY

The Care Ministry

Course Description
Introduction to the Caring ministry of ECA.  This class will share the heart of the Caring Ministry and how it operates. Come and learn how to minister to others during a time of need through the sharing God’s word and prayer. (Two course times to choose from).

Prayer Team Ministry

Course Description
In this course, we will be looking at the guidelines in this ministry as well as specifics including leading people to Christ, the ministry of intercession, and prayer for healing at the alter.

 


WOMEN’S MINISTRY

MOPS (Mother’s of Pre-Schoolers) Leadership Training

Course Description 
We are developing a new structure in our desire to reach out and touch the lives of young mothers and their children.  Come and be a part of this ministry makeover and training.  The only requirment is that you are committing yourself to the one-year cycle of programming beginning in the late summer for preparation, and running the school year for ministry opportunities.

 


GUEST SERVICES

Introduction to Guest Services

Course Description
If you are looking for a way to serve at ECA, this course if for you!  Here you will learn about the vision of the Guest Services Ministry as we continue to expand our impact in welcoming and embracing others, and as we help connect people to the relationships and ministries that will be an encouragement to them in their spiritual journey.  Guest Services areas include: Greeters, Ushers, Information Desk, Barista, Parking Lot Greeters, Shuttle Drivers, and the new area of Engagers. (Two course times to choose from).
