Eastridge Christian Assembly

Bringing hope and building lives from the i90 corridor to the ends of the earth.

Community Outreach

In conjunction with the church's three-fold vision, our outreach is designed to reach out with the good news of Jesus Christ through a heart of service. The ministry is divided into two main areas of service. One is reaching out into our community with such services as feeding the needs through the Issaquah Meal Program. The second area of service is reaching out to those in the body of Christ, our church, to those who need a helping hand.

Soup Kitchen - Issaquah Meal Program

The Issaquah Meal Program is a community feeding project run in partnership with a number of other local churches and coordinated by Catholic Community Services.  ECA provides, prepares and serves food on the 2nd and 5th Fridays of each month.  Small teams of volunteers from the church (2-4 people in each) either prepare the food (1:30-3:30 pm in the ECA Church Kitchen) or serve it (5:00-6:30 pm in the Community Hall).  This program has historically enjoyed good support (30+ volunteers per year), which means that most people participate around 3-4 times a year.
